Cocktail hours
I just love everything about this 60's prom dress. As well as being well crafted, the bow is gorgeous and the crochet fits so well together with the big collar. And the colour is just amazing.

The 80's prom dress
I found this beautiful 80s prom dress in satin mint green at Screaming Mimi's in NYC. There is so many thing that I love about about such as the waist with the large side bow, the white sheer overlay, the sparkle chest detailing and the colour! When is the next prom?

5 things I ♥ about Westwood
1) The patterns
The Scottish patterned woollen cloth used for kilts that has been popular in Scotland for hundreds of year, comes to life again thanks to Queen Westwood. The tartan patterns in Westwoods clothes, created by the use of different coloured wool for the warp and the weft, allows to be mixed and matched with just about everything.
2) The assymetric design
Always that twist that makes a coat, a dress or a shirt stand out. Amazing cuts!
3) The hidden corsets
Found in at least 95% of her dresses is the corset design which is truly flattering for any type of shapes on a woman.
4) The everlasting punk rock references
Since she opened the clothing store "Let it Rock" in London in 1971 (which changed its name to SEX in 1976) together with her partner Malcolm McLaren, she never seems to forget the 70s.
5) The orbs
They are everywhere on her accessories and jewellery and they just look great. It's as simple as that!

Red Statements
I am delighted that my favourite colour red will adorn us all during Fall/Winter 2010. As I mentioned before, my favourite piece of clothing in red this fall is without competition Isabel Marant’s leather pants. However, these are the other pieces I would choose to add to my wardrobe.
Clockwise from left:
These übercool fingerless gloves by Vivienne Westwood would glam up any type of autumn outfit according to me. I love the details with the chain and the charm on the back.
We’ve seen variations of this Alexander McQueen clutch bags all over town a number of times, but I am still not sick and tired of it and I adore this red version.
My lips will be statement red with the help of Candyfuture Opaque Lipstick by Retrofuturist and could be combined with these rectangular sunglasses by Arnette Agent. Never mind their plastic look, it just adds a twist to the whole outfit.
I love my statement boots and therefore I cannot resist these leather patent ankle boots by Versace.
Up until now I haven’t really understood the new relieved hype around Diane von Furstenberg. However, when trying out her new Fall/Winter collection I realised that the simplicity in the dresses and the way they fall on the body is too flattering for any woman’s body to be able to resist.
Ann Demeulemeester has always been a favourite of mine and I always found something to die for in all her collections. This is a perfect dress for a night out during this autumn. Or if going for trousers instead, this one-shoulder silk blouse by Halston Heritage is just as perfect for the event.

Halston 2010
Is Halston back? I mean ‘back’ for real, as in “yes, I would wear it”-kind of way. After spotting this Halston-model at New York fashion week I would agree that the design – which was a popular fashion wear in mid-1970s discotheques as well as very influential in airline uniform designs – is back for real.
