One of the designers who did the 70’s style best at the Spring 2011 collections is, according to me, Derek Lam. As you know I’m a big fan of minimalism and will always be (maybe this has something to do with growing up in Scandinavia, don’t you think?) In his spring collection Derek Lam really embraced minimalism. At the same time he put a lot of emphasis on the retro aspect of the clothes presenting fabulously cut flared trousers and A-line dresses and tops together with typical seventies colours of soft yellow and medium blue denim.
