I'm really exciting finding this vintage Hermés scarf on my last trip. I wore it first time today and I love everything about it - the bright red colour and the blue and gold pattern is just perfect. The name of this specific scarf is Eperon d'or and it was designed in 1974 by H 'Origny. This specific style has been extremely popular and the scarf has been reissued six times; in 1989/90, 1990, 1997, 2003, 2003/04 and 2010/11.

For my collection
Yesterday I received a new scarf, bought on Ebay, for my Hermés collection. This one is called Mors et Gourmettes and I just love the colous combo of blue and gold. The scarf is from 1961 and designed by Henri d’Origny. Later it was re-issued in 1980 and 2008. As Nicole says: Do you looove it?

Trench with a twist
The über traditional trench from Burberry with studded neck and shoulders with an attitude that I just love.
This trench from Martin Grant with beige leather trims is still traditional and minimalistic but yet it stands out.
Another Burberry trench that I really like beacuse of the chic leather applications around the waist and sleeves.
It goes without saying that Burberry hasn't lost it's ablity to make beautiful outerwear and they are still holding on to their no1 position buy constantly adding new elements to its signature trenches. This final one with beautiful leather sleeves.

Playing hard to get
After spotting this Balmain leather jacket on Betty on her job for LuisaViaRoma, creating three outfits with the new Spring/Summer collection, I can't stop thinking about it. Although I want it more than anything else right now, I just can't ignore the price tag this time. It's about USD 7200 bought directly from LuisaViaRoma.com. However, at Net-a-porter I can get it for a bargain at "only" USD 6400 =)
Picks from LuisaViaRoma and Le Blog de Betty.

A secret world
As you might know by now, I am a little bit obsessed in fashion illustrations. Maybe it’s because I can’t draw myself (I’m absolutely terrible) but I have started to collect nice illustrations. These are made by Gemma Milly who is a freelance artist and illustrator based in London.

Scandinavian showroom in Shanghai
Two friends of mine, Swedish Maria and Chinese Yongyan, has got together and set up a new fashion company in Shanghai aiming to represent and showcase Scandinavian designers.
Today they held the launch of the new showroom named Göte Göta, but unfortunately I couldn’t make it there. Having lived next door – in Hong Kong – for over a year I am now stuck in Europe and was not able to take a trip over since I’m starting my new job in London in less than a weeks’ time.
However, I am really excited about Göte Göta, which will represent more than 30 Scandinavian designers with a lot of well know name such as Ann-Sofie Back, Camilla Norrback, Noir & Blanc, Swedish Hasbeens and many more. Through fashion exhibitions and fashion Göte Göta is aiming to make the cross-over from fashion to art into reality, showcasing wearable art from Scandinavian.
And there seem to be so many things that will be going on at the showroom. As they explain it:
“Fashion lovers can come to see a fashion exhibition, shop work pieces from the designers they like, take part in auctions, meet the designers, or just simply come to enjoy a cup of Swedish coffee…”
Yeay!
Ann-Sofie Back is one of my favourite Swedish designers and is one of the designers showcased at Göte Göta in Shanghai.

Simply luxe
To be really honest I am generally not too interested in jewellery designers though I found many of them lack originality and innovation. I have always liked established brands such as Piaget, Cartier, Harry Winston, Van Cleef & Arpels, Tiffany as well as young and trendy Thomas Sabo and vintage Chanel jewellery, but I have never really warmed to new jewellery designers with a less known brand.
However, d_luxe design duo, Karie Higgins and Megan Oliver, make fun and innovative jewellery design that I really love. Their new 2011 collection Costumes & Crystal Armour includes a lot of great pieces which I would love to wear.

Fashion + Dictionary + Diary = FASHIONARY
Today I ordered this Fashionary book. It’s such a brilliant idea being a sketchbook specially designed for fashion designers. Ok, I know I’m not a real fashion designer but rather a Fashion PR and Stylist, but this will definitely help me in my job as a stylist though I always worked with sketches preparing for a job. And since my drawings are crap, this will help a lot! This sketchbook contains a lot of fashion information combined with figure templates which makes sketching both quicker and easier. The information part contains things such as brand index, body measurements, basic pattern and presentation board samples while the templates part includes female figures for fast sketching and female technical templates for flat drawing.
With 400 templates for instant sketching this is the perfect book for me. Can’t wait to get in the post!!!
